So I was in a rush and needed something for dinner fast. Sometimes in a hurry after work I'll try to beat the clock and get to the downtown grocery plaza before it closes. But I haven't beaten the clock yet…. …and today was no different…., Except for a new pizza place called Noble Roman’s, which was open and a new tenant in the downtown plaza. Now I had heard of this new pizzeria, Noble Roman’s, so I decided Id give them a try. I spoke with a personable guy who was the franchisee. I asked to look at the menu and saw a wide variety of good offerings. Now when I go to a pizzeria for the first time I usually will order classic pepperoni to gauge the establishment. As I waited for the order, which was a basic, smaller round serving cut into 4 pieces, the proprietor and I had a good conversation. And the impression that I got was that the guy is a dedicated professional and passionate about the food business. When I got home I tried the pizza with all of the pageantry and ceremony of a famous and world renown food critic….. …..which means I sat at a table at home by myself and ate the pizza.
